In this episode, we chop it up with Anthony DeMonte, the man behind the legacy of Defonte’s—Brooklyn’s iconic Italian sandwich shop that’s been serving up flavor since 1922. Anthony shares the rich history of the shop, how it's stayed a staple in New York for generations, and what it takes to keep that old-school quality alive in today’s world. We talk sandwiches, family tradition, neighborhood pride, and what makes Defonte’s more than just a place to eat—it’s a Brooklyn institution. If you're a foodie, a New Yorker, or just someone who respects a damn good sandwich, this one’s for you.
