MusicWaveBoard is an iOS app that turns physical QR-coded chips into a multi-track musical instrument. The front camera scans chips through a transparent board, a 24-track AVAudioEngine plays corresponding loops, and a time-windowed detection system keeps the music glitch-free. This build story covers the rotating-rectangle QR scanning workaround, gapless audio looping, a Thread.sleep fade hack, voice control with keyword matching, and what I'd do differently. It ends with where this mechanic is going next: an AI-generated audio engine where every chip gets its own model-created sound, and an early-stage venture in music education for children.
