The Problem: Even the best 301 redirect maps leak during a domain migration, sending valuable traffic to dead-end 404 pages.
The Solution: We engineered "404Brain", a zero-dependency, vanilla JavaScript game that renders in under 100ms right on the error route.
The Architecture: Built entirely with a single HTML element and closure-scoped state logic to guarantee zero runtime bloat.
The Growth Loop: We bypassed backend databases entirely, using the native navigator.share() API to create Wordle-style shareable scoreboards.
The Result: A frustrating 4-second bounce transformed into 30–90 seconds of active user engagement and earned third-party UX validation.
