Da: Det var en dejlig sensommeraften i København.
En: It was a lovely late summer evening in København.

Da: I en hyggelig kaffebar ved navn "Bønner og Brød," omgivet af duften af friskbrygget kaffe og dæmpet lys, arbejdede Astrid som barista.
En: In a cozy coffee shop named "Bønner og Brød," surrounded by the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and dim lighting, Astrid worked as a barista.

Da: Hun smilede altid til kunderne, men indeni længtes hun efter at følge sin drøm om at blive musiker.
En: She always smiled at the customers, but inside she longed to follow her dream of becoming a musician.

Da: Astrid elskede sin guitar.
En: Astrid loved her guitar.

Da: Hun havde skrevet sange siden hun var lille.
En: She had been writing songs since she was little.

Da: Du er så talentfuld," sagde han.
En: You're so talented," he said.

Da: Astrid kunne mærke en lille gnist af mod, men tvivlen trak stadig i hende.
En: Astrid felt a small spark of courage, but doubt still tugged at her.

Da: Dagene gik, og open mic natten nærmede sig.
En: Days passed, and the open mic night approached.

Da: På selve dagen stod Astrid bag kaffemaskinen og overvejede sin beslutning.
