En: Tourists and locals filled the cobblestone streets, sipping cold drinks and enjoying the atmosphere.

En: Among them were Lars and Freja, ready to experience the canal tour through Copenhagen's winding waterways.

Da: For Lars var det hans første besøg i denne pulserende by.
En: For Lars, it was his first visit to this vibrant city.

Da: Han var spændt, men også nervøs.
En: He was excited, but also nervous.

Da: Freja, hans ven og guide, havde planlagt dagen nøje.
En: Freja, his friend and guide, had planned the day carefully.

En: She was full of enthusiasm and eager to show Lars everything the city had to offer.

En: They boarded the long, low boat that would take them on a journey through the heart of Copenhagen.

Da: Freja pegede ivrigt på forskellige bygninger og fortalte historier, mens båden gled forbi.
En: Freja eagerly pointed out various buildings and told stories as the boat glided past.

En: Lars tried to listen, but the gentle rocking of the boat began to affect him.

En: Lars knew he tended to get seasick, but he didn't want to disappoint Freja.

Da: Så da kvalmen begyndte at bygge sig op, besluttede han sig for at tage en pause.
En: So when the nausea began to build up, he decided to take a break.

En: He stood by the boat's edge, where the fresh air could offer some relief.

En: As they approached The Little Mermaid, the waves became slightly more turbulent.

En: Lars had difficulty keeping his balance, and eventually bumped into a group of laughing tourists.

En: Freja looked on with concern and grabbed his arm to steady him.

Da: Med et smil, sagde Freja, "Rolig, Lars.
En: With a smile, Freja said, "Easy, Lars.

En: My uncle is a sailor, and he taught me some tricks against seasickness."

En: She showed him how he could position his feet and breathe deeply to calm his stomach.

Da: Lars fulgte hendes råd og kunne mærke, at kvalmen begyndte at aftage.
En: Lars followed her advice and could feel the nausea beginning to subside.

En: He moved closer to Freja, relieved not to be alone in his struggle.

En: The two friends stood that way as the boat completed its round, laughing and enjoying the rest of the trip.

En: When they were back on solid ground in Nyhavn, Lars felt lighter.

En: He had learned that it was okay to show vulnerability and that it could actually bring him closer to others, like Freja.

En: Together, they continued into Copenhagen's lively streets, now ready for new adventures.
