Da: Det arktiske tundra strakte sig uendeligt under den grå himmel.
En: The Arctic tundra stretched endlessly under the gray sky.

Da: Vinden bar fnug af sne, der glimtede som små ædelsten.
En: The wind carried flakes of snow that glittered like small gemstones.

Da: Søren og Mette var på en mission.
En: Søren and Mette were on a mission.

En: They were researchers.

Da: De boede midlertidigt i en lille station midt i isens øde.
En: They temporarily lived at a small station in the desolation of the ice.
