What does it truly mean to make room for Jesus in our lives? In a powerful exploration of Luke 2:6-7, Pastor Nick unveils how God's perfect timing orchestrated Christ's birth through centuries of preparation. From the promised land flowing with milk and honey 1,400 years earlier which placed shepherds and their flocks near Bethlehem when Jesus was born, to Daniel's ministry in Babylon 700 years before as he taight the Magi to look for a sign in the sky, God meticulously arranged every detail. Yet tragically, when the moment arrived, there was "no room in the inn" for the Savior. Pastor Nick challenges us to examine our own lives, confessing how we often crowd out Christ with activities and distractions, leaving no room for Jesus just as those who turned away Mary and Joseph. He calls us to "drill down on our faithfulness" during life's mundane seasons, building a foundation of faith through consistent Bible study and discipleship. The urgent message is clear - while Jesus promises room for us in heaven eternally, we must intentionally make room for Him in our daily lives now. Through vivid storytelling and vulnerable personal examples, Pastor Nick compels us to evaluate where Christ ranks in our priorities and take action to put Him first.
