Welcome to today's episode of "Life at Stake," where we delve into the profound value of human life through the lens of Scripture. In this week’s message titled "Saving One," we journey into the heart of the Exodus story, exploring the incredible faith and courage of two Hebrew midwives who stood against tyranny to protect innocent lives.
As we dive into Exodus 1, we discover a time of oppression where the Israelites faced unimaginable hardships under a new Pharaoh who sought to extinguish their very existence. Yet, in this dark hour, the midwives Shiphrah and Puah fearlessly defy orders to commit infanticide, choosing instead to honor God and save the precious lives of the children entrusted to them. Their decision not only changed the fate of many but also reverberated through the pages of history.
In our modern world, the battle for human dignity and the sanctity of life continues, raising critical questions about how we, as followers of Christ, can respond. We are reminded that, while we may not be able to change everything, we can certainly make a difference. Just as the midwives were called to protect the vulnerable, we are compelled to stand for those who cannot stand for themselves—be it the unborn, the addicted, or those trapped in despair.
Join us as we unpack this powerful message, reflect on the importance of individual action, and challenge ourselves to "save one." Let’s explore how each of us, in our own little corner of the world, can fulfill this calling and make a lasting impact. Tune in for an inspiring discussion that will encourage you to uphold the value of every human life and embrace the mission God has for you. #abortionsucks #abortionlaw #abortionban #abortiondebate #chooselife #lifechanging #jesusisking
