S5 Ep146: He Refused the King's Food — And It Changed Everything

Daniel was a teenager ripped from everything he knew — his home destroyed, his name changed, his identity under attack by the most powerful empire on earth. So how did he end up becoming one of the most faithful, respected figures in Scripture?

In this message, we kick off our 10-week series through the book of Daniel by digging into chapter 1: the fall of Jerusalem, Babylon's strategy to reprogram Judah's brightest young men, and the moment Daniel "resolved in his heart" not to defile himself — a decision made before the pressure ever arrived.

We talk about modern idolatry, the boundaries we never draw until it's too late, and why faithfulness in small things (like what you eat) can open the door to God using you in ways you never expected.
