In today’s episode, I sit down with Brian Sher to discuss the hidden pressures of working behind the scenes in sports and entertainment. We share why glamorous events often involve intense responsibility, constant problem solving, and hundreds of moving parts that audiences never see. Brian explains the challenges of managing artists, protecting fan experiences, and staying composed when talent creates unexpected problems. I reflect on setting boundaries around exclusive access, handling requests from friends and family, and recognizing the true value of premium opportunities. We also discuss collecting payments, navigating changing expectations, honoring commitments, and learning to appreciate the difficult responsibilities that accompany a career you genuinely love.
