He Lived as a Homeless Man to Understand Their Pain

John Stott could have simply preached about the poor, but instead he disguised himself as a homeless man and experienced hunger, rejection, cold, and humiliation firsthand. His experience challenged the church to move beyond sympathy and into compassionate action—serving people in need as though serving Christ Himself.

For Christian men, his story raises a difficult question about faith, leadership, compassion, and responsibility: Do we merely feel sorry for people who are struggling, or are we willing to get close enough to help? Listen and consider how your faith can become action.
