Days of our Lives spoilers excite as the countdown for the arrival of Stefano DiMera's mysterious offspring, Dominic Marino, is underway. Dominic, presumed to be the next formidable villain in Salem, is suspected to take over his family and the city to fulfil Stefano's dark legacy. Dominic's name was first mentioned during the purchase of the Kiriakis mansion by Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer). His involvement in the chess set mystery that Belle Black (Martha Madison) and Chad DiMera (Connor Floyd) have been investigating further intensifies his connection to the DiMera family.

DOOL spoilers hint at a secret child of Stefano and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). This speculation emerged when Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) tasked Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) and Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) with finding Dominic's birth certificate. The document suggests that Dominic Marino DiMera is the long-lost son of Stefano and Marlena. However, Marlena has no memory of the pregnancy and remains perplexed about the possibility of having Stefano's child.

Spoilers for Days of our Lives indicate that Dominic's imminent arrival in Salem could lead to him claiming his place in the DiMera family. His upbringing in Italy, away from Salem, and his connection to Marlena's daughter, Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney), through his boarding school friend Dante Vitali (Franco LoPresti), add intrigue to his character. Dante's unexpected visit to Sydney DiMera and his assurance of Dominic's arrival in Salem soon hints at a shift in the dynamics of the DiMera family.

More DOOL spoilers also sees EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel)'s position in the family threatened by Dominic's actions, including acquiring the Kiriakis mansion and possibly taking over the DiMera estate. Dominic's ruthless and unapologetic nature mirrors his father, Stefano, marking a potentially devastating revelation for Marlena. The introduction of Dominic is far from benign, with him leading Marlena, Belle, and Chad on a wild goose chase, and positioning his best friend, Dante, to be engaged to Sami. Dominic's possession of the Phoenix ring, previously owned by EJ, further signals his potential to become the true Stefano 2.0.
