Cory Blumenfeld: Stop Running Your Business, Start Owning Your Time

What does it actually cost you when your calendar runs your life instead of the other way around? Cory Blumenfeld has built five companies across industries he knew nothing about, and his latest answer to that question is BlueMoso — a VA matching service built around how founders actually work, not just what they need done.

In this episode:
• Why not knowing an industry can be a feature, not a bug — and whether that's a real belief or a founder's origin myth
• The broken logic inside most VA hiring, and why personality and work style matter more than skill on paper
• How 70K+ social followers became a trust-building engine, not a sales funnel — and why Cory says content is non-negotiable for any business owner today
• The honest AI question: does automation make the human VA model more valuable or more vulnerable over the next three years

Cory Blumenfeld is a five-time founder and two-time exit veteran who has raised nearly five million dollars across his ventures. He is the Founder and CEO of BlueMoso, a virtual talent matching company on a mission to give one million business owners their time back. Based in Mexico and operating globally, Cory built BlueMoso from a single VA relationship into a talent pool of 80+ professionals, entirely bootstrapped and entirely referral-driven.
