Zh: 月光轻洒在赏月亭的屋顶，亭周围的枫树叶子染上了红黄的色彩，像一幅秋天的画。
En: The moonlight gently spread over the roof of the Shangyueting, and the maple leaves around the pavilion were dyed in hues of red and yellow, resembling a picture of autumn.

Zh: 莲坐在亭子里，手上捧着刚做好的月饼，心里却有些不安。
En: Lian sat inside the pavilion, holding freshly made mooncakes in her hands, but she felt a bit uneasy inside.

Zh: 这一年一度的中秋团聚对于她来说意义重大。
En: This annual Mid-Autumn reunion held great significance for her.

Zh: 她希望家人可以都来，共同分享这一刻的温暖。
En: She hoped that her family could all come together to share in the warmth of the moment.

Zh: 可她的弟弟荣总是缺席。
En: However, her brother Rong always seemed to be absent.

Zh: 他总是忙于工作，很少有时间参加家庭聚会。
En: He was constantly busy with work and rarely had time to attend family gatherings.

Zh: 莲想，今天一定要和他好好谈一谈。
En: Lian thought, today she must have a good talk with him.

Zh: 她希望找到一个折中的办法，让荣明白这个节日的重要性。
En: She hoped to find a compromise, to make Rong understand the importance of this festival.

Zh: 傍晚，家人们陆续来到赏月亭，大家心情都很好。
En: In the evening, family members arrived at the Shangyueting one after another, and everyone was in a good mood.

Zh: 莲却不停地望向远处的小路，期待着荣的出现。
En: However, Lian kept glancing towards the distant path, anticipating Rong's arrival.

Zh: 然而时间一点一点过去，荣还是没有来。
En: Yet, as time slowly passed, Rong still didn't appear.

Zh: 莲心里有些失望，但她强打精神，带领大家开始分享月饼和家常。
En: Lian felt a bit disappointed, but she forced a smile and led everyone to start sharing the mooncakes and home-cooked dishes.

Zh: 突然，远处的小路上传来脚步声，是荣！
En: Suddenly, footsteps were heard coming from the distance — it was Rong!

Zh: 他虽然迟到了，却带来一个特别的礼物——一个自己设计的灯笼。
En: Although he was late, he brought with him a special gift — a lantern he had designed himself.

Zh: 灯笼的光照亮了整个亭子，柔和而温暖。
En: The light from the lantern illuminated the entire pavilion, soft and warm.

Zh: “对不起，我来晚了。”荣略显歉意地说，“工作上有些事情耽误了。
En: "Sorry, I'm late," Rong said apologetically, "There were some work matters that delayed me.

Zh: 不过，我一直想着大家。”
En: But I was thinking of everyone all along."

Zh: 说完，他把灯笼挂在亭中央，满月的光透过灯笼，洒在每个人脸上。
En: With that, he hung the lantern in the center of the pavilion, allowing the full moon's light to shine through it and onto everyone's faces.

Zh: 这个惊喜让所有人心里都很暖。
En: This surprise warmed everyone’s hearts.

Zh: 莲微笑着走过去，“谢谢你，荣。
En: Lian smiled as she walked over, "Thank you, Rong.

Zh: 我知道你一直关心我们。”她轻声说。
En: I know you always care about us," she said softly.

Zh: 夜色渐深，皎洁的月光映着大家的笑脸。
En: As night deepened, the bright moonlight reflected off everyone's smiling faces.

Zh: 在灯笼下，他们分享着月饼和过去的趣事，仿佛回到了过去。
En: Under the lantern's light, they shared mooncakes and memories of the past, as if they had returned to old times.

Zh: 那一晚，莲明白了倾听和理解的重要。
En: That night, Lian understood the importance of listening and understanding.

En: Meanwhile, Rong realized the value of family traditions.
