Es: En un barrio vibrante y lleno de vida, Luz se preparaba para el regreso a clases.
En: In a vibrant and lively neighborhood, Luz was getting ready for the return to school.

Es: Era verano y el sol brillaba en el cielo como si se resistiera a despedirse.
En: It was summer, and the sun shone in the sky as if it resisted saying goodbye.
