En: For Sindre, this place was both a dream and a fear.

En: Sindre stood beside the slope, his eyes full of determination, but also hidden unease.

En: She looked at him with an encouraging gaze.

No: "Du klarer dette, Sindre.
En: "You can do this, Sindre.

En: Just remember to breathe," said Liv, giving him a pat on the shoulder.

En: Emilie came over to them, dressed in her own ski suit, a friend and competitor in one.

No: "Vi heier på deg, Sindre.
En: "We're cheering for you, Sindre.

En: It's not just about winning, but overcoming yourself," she said with a smile.

No: Dagene før konkurransen brukte Sindre til å trene hardt.
En: In the days before the competition, Sindre spent his time training hard.

En: He pushed himself to the limit, determined to overcome the fear.

En: But with every strong gust of wind and the faintest hint of uncertainty, he felt the internal resistance grow.

En: The feeling of pressure began to wear on him, but he was determined to succeed.

No: Han innså at frykten hans ikke ville forsvinne over natten.
En: He realized that his fear wouldn't disappear overnight.

En: But perhaps, he thought, he could learn to live with it rather than let it taunt him.

En: On the day itself, as he climbed towards the top of the slope, Sindre could hear the cheers from below.

En: Both Liv's and Emilie's voices mixed with the crowd's, giving him a strength he didn't know he had.

En: As he stood at the top and looked out over the city, he felt the wind tugging at his hair.

No: Det var nå eller aldri.
En: It was now or never.

En: The clocks ticked, but in that moment, he allowed himself to forget the fear, forget the pressure, and focus solely on one thing: the freedom of the jump.

En: He pushed off, soared into nothingness and everything at the same time.

En: For a few seconds, there existed only him and the air.
