Story Transcript:

Ca: L’aroma del cafè acabat de torrar omplia l'ambient del petit torrefactor.
En: The aroma of freshly roasted coffee filled the air of the small roaster.

Ca: La llum es filtrava suaument per les grans finestres, il·luminant les bosses de colors que alineaven les parets.
En: Light filtered gently through the large windows, illuminating the colorful bags lining the walls.

Ca: Martí va creuar la porta amb pas decidit, però amb un petit nus a l'estómac.
En: Martí crossed the door with a determined step, but with a small knot in his stomach.

Ca: Estava emocionat per trobar els grans ideals per la seva màquina d’expresso, però també tenia dubtes sobre quina seria la millor elecció.
En: He was excited to find the ideal beans for his espresso machine, but also had doubts about what would be the best choice.

Ca: Laia, la barista amb un somriure càlid, va saludar-lo.
En: Laia, the barista with a warm smile, greeted him.

Ca: "Bon dia, Martí!
En: "Good morning, Martí!

Ca: Què busques avui?
En: What are you looking for today?"

Ca: " Martí va gratar-se el cap, mirant al seu voltant.
En: Martí scratched his head, looking around.

Ca: "Necessito un cafè que deixi els meus amics amb la boca oberta.
En: "I need a coffee that will leave my friends speechless.

Ca: Però hi ha tanta varietat…"Justament, Quim, un altre client, escoltava.
En: But there's so much variety..." Just then, Quim, another customer, was listening.

Ca: L’expert en cafè li va fer un senyal a Martí amb el cap.
En: The coffee expert nodded at Martí.

Ca: "He provat moltes d’aquestes barreges.
En: "I've tried many of these blends.

Ca: Pensa en un sabor ric, potser una mica de matisos nous et sorprendrien.
En: Think of a rich flavor, maybe some new notes would surprise you."

Ca: "Martí se sentia aclaparat pels consells.
En: Martí felt overwhelmed by the advice.

Ca: Tot semblava igual d’atractiu i alhora intimidador.
En: Everything seemed equally attractive and at the same time intimidating.

Ca: Va mirar Laia i va dir amb una mica de decisió: "Puc tastar un parell de les teves recomanacions?
En: He looked at Laia and said with a bit of decision: "Can I taste a couple of your recommendations?"

Ca: "La Laia, encoratjada, va portar-li dues tasses petites amb mostres fresques.
En: Laia, encouraged, brought him two small cups with fresh samples.

Ca: Martí va filtrar-se el primer cafè pels llavis.
En: Martí sipped the first coffee.

Ca: Un sabor suau, una mica dolç.
En: A smooth flavor, a bit sweet.

Ca: Era agradable, però no li evocava aquella excitació que buscava.
En: It was pleasant, but it didn't evoke the excitement he was looking for.

Ca: Va agafar la segona tassa, olorant primer abans de tastar.
En: He picked up the second cup, smelling it first before tasting.

Ca: Aquest era diferent: un gust intens i rodó acompanyat d’un subtil toc d’avellana.
En: This one was different: an intense and round taste accompanied by a subtle hint of hazelnut.

Ca: En aquell instant, Martí va tenir un moment de claredat.
En: At that moment, Martí had a moment of clarity.

Ca: Aquest era el café.
En: This was the coffee.

Ca: Amb convicció renovada, va dir a Laia: "Això és el que estava buscant.
En: With renewed conviction, he said to Laia: "This is what I was looking for."

Ca: " Va demanar un quilo d’aquella barreja perfecta, ja imaginant-se els elogis dels seus amics al proper tast de cafè.
En: He ordered a kilo of that perfect blend, already imagining the praise from his friends at the next coffee tasting.

Ca: Quan va sortir del torrefactor, sota el sol radiant d'estiu, Martí portava el seu paquet de cafè amb orgull.
En: When he left the roaster, under the radiant summer sun, Martí carried his package of coffee with pride.

Ca: Ja no tenia dubtes—confiava en el seu propi gust.
En: He no longer had doubts—he trusted his own taste.

Ca: La confiança en ell mateix havia crescut, i sabia que les decisions perfectes es basaven en la seva intuïció.
En: Confidence in himself had grown, and he knew that perfect decisions were based on his intuition.

Ca: El somriure en el seu rostre va indicar que el seu viatge al món del cafè només acabava de començar.
En: The smile on his face indicated that his journey into the world of coffee had only just begun.
