Today is Vol. 3 of The Ultimate Mixtape, the final chapter in the 100th episode celebration, where I asked 65 different people one question: If you could choose one song — from any genre or era — to be preserved in a time capsule for future generations… which song would you choose, and why?
I’ve taken all 65 of those answers and curated them into a fully sequenced mixtape - just like we did when mixtapes actually mattered. Vol. 3 features the final 25 selections, bringing the project to a close!
Guests appearing in Vol. 3 (in no particular order): Guy Fletcher of Dire Straits, Joe Bonamassa, Desmond Child, Ed Toth of The Doobie Brothers, Walter Trout, Todd Park Mohr of Big Head Todd & The Monsters, Yacht Rock Revue, Billy Sheehan of Mr. Big, Sonny Gullage, Emily Wolfe, Jax Hollow, Wolfgang Valbrun, two more incredible Patreon Mixtapers: David Lee Smith & Philip Bergman, and a guest appearance from Paul Williams!
