The tragic case of Alana Odysseos

It's just before midnight in Walthamstow, East London, and a group of neighbours are standing at a front door.

They've heard arguing. They've seen it spill out onto the communal green. So they ring the doorbell, and they ask again and again, “Are you okay? Do you need help?”

The woman thanks them. Tells them she's fine, and so the group then go home.

At 3am however, it starts again. This time, a neighbour presses record on their phone and dials 999. And inside the flat, the woman at the centre of it is holding up a phone of her own. Alana Odysseos is filming too. But within the hour, that recordinge would be gone. The phone thrown down a drain, by the man who walked out of that flat and into a café, covered in blood.
