6 Sun Belt Teams With EVERYTHING to Prove in October | Sun Belt Podcast

Sun Belt football teams enter October with everything on the line—who has the most to prove? Surprise contender Georgia State, led by Cameran Brown and a dominant defensive line, faces major skepticism despite a strong start.

Their upcoming showdown with JMU could cement their status as a true threat or expose them as pretenders. Can the Panthers finally break through on the national stage, or will doubts linger?

Dave Schultz ranks the six Sun Belt programs with the most to prove, spotlighting questions about South Alabama’s defense, the Cajuns’ inconsistent offense, App State’s late-game intensity, and Troy’s struggle to meet preseason championship expectations.

With tough opponents and high stakes ahead, which Sun Belt team will silence the doubters and emerge as a legitimate contender? Don’t miss this incisive breakdown on Locked On Sun Belt.
