Kier Gaines grew up where anger was useful. It kept him from getting bullied. It was his sword and his shield.
Then it became his anchor. The same thing that protected him started blocking love, connection, every relationship he wanted.
It took seven or eight years to loosen. No single turning point. He compares it to glaucoma, vision narrowing so slowly you never notice until it's gone.
What actually shifted it: new city, new friends, young professionals around him, travel. He found out there was an identity under the anger.
Lewis shares how he hit every goal and made the money, and the anger was still sitting there with him. Accomplishment doesn't touch the wound underneath.
Therapy, workshops, retreats. He had to heal the story the anger was attached to before grace for himself was even possible.
