The IT Detox: Trading Screens for Skills | Kate Ivanova, Product Builder at Manychat.com | BRP #112

Starting from zero in a new project can feel like landing in the middle of someone else’s movie. So how do you catch up fast enough to matter?

We talk with Kate Ivanova, Product Builder at Manychat, about what it really means to step into complexity and turn ambiguity into direction.

Kate opens up about the pressure and expectations behind the role, the shift between working in companies like Miro and Booking and the frameworks she relies on to understand a product from the ground up: people, context, users, constraints and momentum.

Beyond the job itself, we explore her fascination with vibe coding: building driven by intuition, curiosity and speed. From experiments to personal projects, it’s the playground where new thinking is born.

This is a conversation about clarity, adaptability and learning how to build confidence when nothing is familiar yet.

If you work in product, tech or fast-moving teams, you’ll recognize the feeling.
