Messed Up Movie Draft: Zombies

In this episode of the Messed Up Movies Podcast, we put together our ultimate Zombie Movie Draft, picking four films each to build the strongest lineup possible.

The conversation goes beyond just picking favorites; we get into what actually makes a great zombie movie. From slow, classic Romero-style horror to fast, chaotic modern outbreaks, each pick reflects a different take on the genre.

We debate: Classic vs modern zombie films Fast zombies vs slow zombies Style vs substance in zombie storytelling Which movies still hold up today And which picks might have been a reach…

Each of us drafted from a mix of iconic and underrated films, including:

Night of the Living Dead (1968 & 1990)

Train to Busan

28 Days Later

Dawn of the Dead (2004)

REC

Zombieland

World War Z and more
