The Bible Isn't a Collection of Stories—It's One Story - Kim Sorgius Jones

The Bible isn't a collection of disconnected stories about interesting people. It's God's story.

Kim Sorgius Jones explains why one of the most important things we can teach our children is how the Old and New Testaments connect—and how every story ultimately points us back to God.

David isn't simply a hero to imitate. The story of David and Bathsheba isn't merely about David's failure. The stories of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and countless others aren't isolated accounts. They are woven together into the greater story of God's salvation, mercy, and redemption.

Instead of only asking, “Who was in this story?” or “How can I apply this to my life?” Kim encourages parents to ask a much more important question:

“What have you learned about God here?”

Teaching our children to see the Bible as one unified story helps them understand Scripture more deeply and see the character of God throughout His Word.
