A deep technical breakdown of 22 ARC gas system tuning on AR-15 platforms, covering why the cartridge's higher port pressure accelerates gas port erosion compared to 6 ARC, why intermediate-length gas systems and smaller gas ports outperform the trend toward longer rifle-length systems, twist rate recommendations (1:7 as the sweet spot), barrel cleaning regimens specific to 22 ARC's overbore characteristics, and buffer weight/spring recommendations for flow-through suppressor setups. Includes an open offer to barrel manufacturers for free collaborative testing. Presented by AllyMunitions.com
