Penn State’s Offense Is NOT What We Expected... And Rocco Becht Is The Reason

Rocco Becht's start to the 2026 season could force Penn State to rethink its offensive identity.

Through wins over Marshall and Temple, Becht has completed more than 75% of his passes while Penn State has shown legitimate weapons at wide receiver and tight end. Should Taylor Mouser lean even harder into the passing game while the rushing attack finds its footing?

Zach Seyko breaks down the Penn State running-back rotation after Carson Hansen and James Peoples handled essentially all of the meaningful work against Temple while Quinton Martin and Cam Wallace barely saw the field. What does that usage tell us about the coaching staff's trust in the room, and should the rotation change against Buffalo?
