SURPRISE: Baylor Defense Gets SHOCKING BOOST, Dave Aranda Has a CRAZY MVP? — Locked On Baylor - Daily Podcast on Baylor Bears Football & Basketball

Baylor Bears see a season-saving boost as unexpected MVP Traevon Mitchell (or Alan Bennett) is cleared to play, reinforcing a defensive line that could become one of the Big 12's most formidable units. With Devonte Tezino sidelined, Cam Stuart and Sydney Wicker examine how Mitchell’s mid-season eligibility transforms Baylor’s strategy and keeps them competitive—even on off-days from the offense led by DJ Lagway. Can this revamped defensive front carry the Bears to surprise victories down the stretch?

The conversation heats up with “Winners and Losers,” spotlighting Oklahoma State’s historic upset over Oregon and BYU’s statement win against Arizona. Off the gridiron, Baylor secures top basketball recruit Kate Koval from LSU after Kim Mulkey’s controversial roster moves, signaling a major shift for the women’s program. Big 12 shakeups, emerging threats, and fresh talent make this a must-listen for Bears fans and college sports followers alike.
