The Dudes open on Macklemore announcing a Free Palestine Tour after getting cut from Ed Sheeran’s Loop Tour. MetLife, “Free Palestine,” “Hind’s Hall,” NFL stadiums blinking, openers walking, Sheeran blaming promoters. Ten days later: Dublin 3Arena Oct. 26, Paris Accor Arena the 29th, London’s OVO Arena Wembley the 30th, U.S. dates coming, tickets Sept. 30. Proceeds to Gaza Soup Kitchen, Anera, PCRF, JVP, UNRWA USA and the rest. That turns into the larger argument that Palestine has never existed as a sovereign nation-state — Roman Syria Palaestina, Ottoman provinces, British Mandate passports, Golda Meir in 1969, and Arab leaders in the 1930s calling it southern Syria.

Later, the fellas dissect Greta Thunberg calling Ed Sheeran spineless: bigger platform, bigger responsibility, “silence is complicity,” “you cannot be neutral in a genocide.” Then they break down touring as a loyalty test. Damon Albarn and Gorillaz opened the U.S. Mountain tour at Orlando’s Kia Center on Sept. 17, held up a Palestinian flag, and told the room, “Don’t ever be neutral.”

The guys close on Benjamin Netanyahu’s Sept. 24 UN General Assembly speech — walkouts in the hall, elections hanging over every line. Outside, a Jewish Voice for Peace sit-in on First Avenue. NYPD zip-tied roughly 100 people, including Susan Sarandon and Hannah Einbinder. Cynthia Nixon, Chelsea Manning, Chi Ossé, Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus were in the mix. They wrap with Candace Owens’ never-ending Charlie Kirk murder mystery: Kirk shot at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10, 2025, Tyler Robinson charged, prosecutors stacking video, DNA and an autopsy — while the fangirl lore still wants a patsy, an exploding mic, and Israel in the credits.
