Johnny Mac covers reports that Tom Segura and Christina Pazsitsky have split after 18 years while planning to continue hosting Your Mom’s House, citing TMZ and noting speculation about Segura not wearing a ring and fewer joint episodes. He says he finds the breakup sad and cautions against overreading the ring detail. He reacts to widespread social media annoyance with Will Ferrell’s Home Run Derby Netflix appearance and previews Ferrell’s new Netflix series The Hawk, with comments from Fortune Feimster. Other items include Colin Jost nearly scoring a hole-in-one at the American Century Championship, Michael Loftus predicting a short-lived Taylor Swift/Travis Kelce marriage, Jon Stewart praising Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey and its practical effects, and Bill Maher saying he won’t retire. In a “Comedy Stock Market,” he recommends selling Ferrell and Segura and buying Tim Heidecker, then discusses the TV Academy’s new yes/no Emmy voting and shares comments from Jemaine Clement and Aida Rodriguez on comedy and marginalized groups.
