Hon. Steven MacKinnon: Why Bill C-39 will get Canada building again

Minister of Transport and Government House Leader Steve MacKinnon discusses Bill C-39, legislation aimed at reforming Canada's major project permitting and regulatory system. He explains why he believes the bill will accelerate project approvals, improve labour negotiations, and strengthen supply chains. MacKinnon outlines the government's goals of economic growth and trade diversification, addresses lessons from past regulatory failures, and defends the Liberal Party's centrist approach to balancing more progressive interests while advancing pro-growth policies.
