Dolly Parton dies: World pays tribute to legendary country music star

The world is a much less colourful place this morning after the legendary country music singer Dolly Parton died at the age of 80.

One of the most iconic singer-songwriters of all time, her music touched millions of people across multiple generations during a seven-decade career.

Trump100 co-host James Matthews is with mourners in the Smoky Mountains and has sent Cheat Sheet a voice note.

Meanwhile, Sky News understands that a property belonging to the father of a teenager who died in the A66 crash was rammed shortly before the fatal collision.

Finally, the Pope of course is not exactly short of followers - but he might be about to gain a few dedicated followers of fashion. That’s because Vanity Fair has included the pontiff in its ranking of the best dressed people in the world.
