Why This Weekend Is MASSIVE for Indiana Football Recruiting

Indiana Football has officially reached Week 1, but the Hoosiers have something massive happening off the field as well.

Curt Cignetti and Indiana are expected to welcome roughly 35-40 high school recruits to Bloomington for the season opener against North Texas, including several major prospects and current Indiana commits.

Jacob Goins breaks down why having committed players such as Monshun Sales and others back on campus could become another recruiting weapon for the Hoosiers. Plus, we take a closer look at two major visitors to know: 2028 EDGE Luke Nabors and 2029 linebacker Austin Phillips.

Then, we react to a wild Thursday night of college football, including Colorado's win over Georgia Tech and former Indiana quarterback Alberto Mendoza, Rutgers' stunning loss to UMass, Illinois pulling away from UAB and more from Week 1.

Indiana Football is back — and the defending national champions have an opportunity to make a statement both on and off the field.
