Maybe We Were WRONG About Josh Hoover… | Indiana Hoosiers News

Are Indiana Football fans being too hard on Josh Hoover?

The Hoosiers are 4-0, Hoover is completing 70% of his passes with 11 touchdown passes and zero turnovers, yet questions continue to surround Indiana's new quarterback. Jacob Goins explains why it might be time to reconsider some of the criticism of Hoover and stop comparing him to Kurtis Rourke and Heisman Trophy winner Fernando Mendoza.

What does Hoover still need to improve before Indiana faces the toughest stretch of its Big Ten schedule? And what should Hoosier fans be watching for against Rutgers?

Then, Locked On UCLA's Zach Anderson-Yoxsimer joins the show to discuss one of the biggest surprises in the Big Ten: Is Bob Chesney building the next Indiana at UCLA?

Jacob and Zach compare Chesney's turnaround at UCLA to Curt Cignetti's transformation of Indiana, examine the similarities and differences between the two programs, and discuss whether UCLA could actually become a College Football Playoff contender in Chesney's first season.

Could Indiana and UCLA eventually meet in the Big Ten Championship Game?
