Then, Tales of the Texas Rangers starring Joel McCrea, originally broadcast October 14, 1951, 75 years ago, Play for Keeps.  The story is based on the events of December 12, "several years ago." Jace Pearson tracks down the crooked constable who killed Sheriff Smithers in cold blood. 

Followed by Lum and Abner, originally broadcast October 14, 1941, 85 years ago, Trouble with Deception. Because of a little white lie, Lum has to pretend he has a broken leg. He refuses to claim the insurance money the Squire says he's entitled to. 

Finally, Claudia, originally broadcast October 14, 1948, 78 years ago, Trespassers Beware!  David and Claudia behind the barn. Kathryn Bard and Paul Crabtree star.
