1. מהחילוקים הבולטים בין משה רבינו ואדמו"ר האמצעי, ה"אושפיזין" דיום זה, הוא: משה רבינו אכן קיבל את כל התורה כולה, גם פנימיות התורה, ואדרבה – בשעת מעמד הר סיני היו עניני פנימיות התורה בגלוי יותר מאשר עניני נגלה דתורה, אמנם בנוגע ללימוד התורה דכל ישראל במשך הדורות – עיקר ענינו הוא "רבינו" בנגלה דתורה. אבל אדמו"ר האמצעי הי' חידושו "רחובות הנהר" בפנימיות התורה, עד שגם בדורנו זה כאשר הגילוי וההפצה של פנימיות התורה מוכרח ביותר – בולט החידוש בדרושיו עד ד"לאו כל מוחא סביל דא". 2. לחגוג שמחת בית השואבה דוקא ברשות הרבים – שכל בריאתו הוא כדי שבנ"י יעשו ממנו "רשות היחיד" ליחידו של עולם עי"ז ששמחים בו ומנגנים ניגונים לכבודו ית', עד שפועלים גם אצל אינם-יהודים שם שידעו שהקב"ה הוא "הממליך מלכים ולו המלוכה" וכו', ועל כאו״א לנצל את הכחות שנותנים לו לכך, ולהמשיך השמחה על כל השנה.

Synopsis

(1) One of the striking differences between Moshe Rabbeinu and the Mitteler Rebbe (today’s Ushpizin) is as follows: While Moshe Rabbeinu received the entire Torah, including Pnimiyus HaTorah (and in fact, at Matan Torah Pnimiyus HaTorah was revealed even more openly than Nigleh), nevertheless, with regard to the Torah studied by the Jewish people throughout the generations, Moshe’s primary role as “Rabbeinu” is in Nigleh. Whereas the Mitteler Rebbe introduced the rechovos hanahar (“wide flow of a river”) in Pnimiyus HaTorah, to the point that even in our generation, when the revelation and dissemination of Pnimiyus HaTorah is especially crucial, the distinctive depth of his maamarim stands out, to the extent that “not every mind can bear it.” (2) The celebration of Simchas Beis Hashoeivah should take place specifically in the public domain, which was created for the Jewish people to transform it into a private domain belonging to the One and Only Master of the world, by rejoicing and singing niggunim in the public domain in Hashem’s honor, to the point that even the non-Jews come to recognize that Hashem “appoints kings, and His is the sovereignty” etc. Every individual must utilize the abilities given to him for this purpose, and extend the joy throughout the entire year.
