"The Cage" - Chilling Tales for Dark Nights

Years after escaping the masked stranger who imprisoned her, Zella travels to the prison where he is serving his sentence. She tells herself she has come to prove that he no longer owns any part of her. But the scars covering her body are not the only things she carried out of that basement. Something lives inside Zella, something hungry enough to sense the darkness clinging to everyone around her and patient enough to wait for the smallest fracture in her resolve. As memories of captivity, manipulation, and forbidden rites begin forcing their way to the surface, Zella must confront a terrifying possibility: returning to her captor may not have been entirely her decision.
