Drew was going to be the president, and Katie was going to be the next Julia Roberts. Their shared extraordinary ambitions brought them together at sixteen—and drove them apart years later.
Now, her career feeling precarious and her personal life a mess, a promise to her sister means Katie has to return to Dutch Ridge this Christmas for the first time in years. She immediately runs into Drew, who, despite following a different path than the one they dreamed together, seems happy. As their run-ins heat up and the two can't keep themselves away from each other, Katie begins to wonder whether her accolade-filled Hollywood life really fulfills her after all.
