Episode 106 - Josh O'Connor (Season 51) — The Ten to One Podcast

This week on the Ten to One, we recap and review the latest episode of Saturday Night Live with first-time host Josh O’Connor.

We go sketch-by-sketch through a holiday-leaning episode packed with awkward moments, a familiar character from Bowen Yang, and a nice standup bit from Marcello Hernandez, among other things.

In this episode, we break down:

The Air Force One press conference cold open and another spin on Trump-world chaos
Josh O’Connor’s monologue (including his funny Ratatouille casting bit)
Teaching Hospital and the return of Bowen Yang’s Dr. Please
Uber Eats Wrapped, the painfully relatable stats that Ben would not like to see
Bachelorette Party Strippers, featuring the “sensitive strippers.”
Characters on Characters, pairing iconic Christmas figures for very serious actor talk, with a Brad-nit-pick
Weekend Update, including bits from Marcello Hernández and Jane Wickline
The night’s holiday extras: Brad and His Dad: Christmas, Wizard of Oz Deleted Footage, and more

We close it out with our picks for Sketch of the Night, the episode MVP, and where Josh O’Connor’s hosting debut lands in the Season 51 rankings.

Listen now and let us know: where'd we get it wrong, what are your thoughts on Jane Wickline so far, and what was your favorite sketch of the night?
