#173 – Understand AI before you make the wrong decisions – Katrin Yuan, CEO of the Swiss Future Institute

We are very happy to welcome Katrin J. Yuan to the podcast today.

She is one of Europe’s leading voices in artificial intelligence, combining experience in tech, finance, and leadership. Katrin J. Yuan is the CEO of the Swiss Future Institute, Chair of the AI Future Council, and author of “AI Knowledge for Executives.” She lectures at four universities, including HWZ in Zurich, serves on several boards, and speaks regularly at international conferences such as the United Nations.

Right now, everyone is talking about artificial intelligence.

But very few people really understand how to use it responsibly and strategically. Katrin explains why AI is not just a tech topic but a leadership question. She also shares what the West can learn from Asia when it comes to speed, mindset, and innovation. And she reminds us why AI should never replace human empathy.

In this episode, you will learn why boards need to become AI-ready, what responsible AI really means, and how we can prepare for a future where humans and machines work together.

Have a listen!
