Sark: Hollywood Smothers Is BACK for Texas–OU

Jeff Howe, CJ Vogel and Hank South react to Steve Sarkisian’s final media availability before the Red River Rivalry. Sark says Texas “sorely missed” Hollywood Smothers and is excited to have the explosive running back return alongside tight end Nick Townsend. Their presence could revive a struggling rushing attack, but the Longhorns’ interior offensive line faces its toughest challenge yet against Oklahoma standouts David Stone and Jayden Jackson.

The crew also explains why Texas must prepare for every trick Oklahoma can manufacture with its season on the line. The Sooners have struggled offensively, while Will Muschamp’s unit owns the nation’s best red-zone touchdown defense—but rivalry chaos, special teams and turnovers could still change everything. Style points do not matter: Texas must protect the Golden Hat and secure its first three-game winning streak over Oklahoma since the 1990s.
