Locking Horns: Can Texas Beat Tennessee If Arch Manning Has to Do It All?

Amanda Atwell, CJ Vogel and Bobby Burton debate how concerned Texas fans should be about Arch Manning entering a hostile road environment at Tennessee. After an uneven performance against UTSA, can Arch rediscover the aggressive mindset he displayed during comeback efforts at Mississippi State, Georgia and Ohio State—or will his recent accuracy issues follow him into Neyland Stadium?

The crew also identifies the biggest surprises from Texas’ first three games, including Will Muschamp’s dominant defense and an offensive line that has yet to allow a holding penalty or commit a pre-snap infraction. Finally, CJ and Bobby clash over the decisive factor in Knoxville: whether the Longhorns must establish their own running game or prevent Tennessee’s ground attack from turning the matchup into a high-scoring shootout.
