Washington Has To SEND A MESSAGE Against Utah State

Jedd Fisch and the Washington Huskies are aiming to bounce back and send a statement against Utah State after a shaky win over Washington State in their opener. Can Demond Williams Jr. ignite the offense and lead the team to a dominant non-conference win over their Pac-12 opponent early in the season, or will inconsistencies at running back and along the offensive line hold them back?

Locked On Huskies host Roman Tomashoff spotlights critical adjustments needed for the Huskies, from Michael Switzer’s call for greater physicality along the offensive line from Kodi Greene, John Mills, Drew Azzopardi, and more, to Ryan Walters’ defensive statement against the Cougars that helped them elevate to one of the best in college football. Recruiting buzz heats up as five-star offensive tackle Antijuan Wilkes and 2027 commit Tre Moore emerge as must-watch names, while receivers like Chris Lawson and Rashid Williams fight to fill the void left by injured transfer portal acquisition Christian Moss.

Key matchups, AP Poll shifts, and season expectations come into focus as Washington prepares for battles against Eastern Washington, Minnesota, and USC over the next month. Are the Huskies ready to meet their Big Ten ambitions?
