https://youtu.be/ro29Ic74aLE Narnia may be written for children, but it is still Lewis doing the writing. This introduction opens the first three Chronicles as fairy stories dense enough for grown minds: Wardrobe, Caspian, and Dawn Treader in publication order.
In this Mythic Mind lecture from the Fiction and Philosophy of C.S. Lewis course, Dr. Andrew Snyder (professor of philosophy and theology) frames how to enter Narnia's secondary world, why fairy-tale form matters, and what Mars, nature, and voyage themes begin to surface across these early books.
Topics include reading order, the low entry bar that still rewards rereading, and how Narnia continues Lewis's larger philosophy of story.
