In this Mythic Mind lecture from the Fiction and Philosophy of C.S. Lewis course, Dr. Andrew Snyder (professor of philosophy and theology) walks the novel's philosophy: descent that receives rather than crashes, Weston's progressive creed, obedience as riding the wave, and why myth may finally demand a blow.
Topics include bent desire versus glory, the Fixed Land as false security, and how Perelandra pulls the cosmic war closer to Earth before That Hideous Strength.
