גילוי מוקדם של סרטן- למי להאמין

מחקר מבוקר ענק בדק יעילות בדיקת דם לגילוי מוקדם של סרטן. התוצא העיקרי שנבדק היה היארעות סרטן בשלבים 3-4. תוצאות המחקר היו מאכזבות בעיני ה BMJ אך מבטיחות בעיני אתר חדשות ישראלי. בפרק נדון בסיבה לשוני בהצגת התוצאות, במורכבות הנוגעת להחלטה על בדיקות סקר, ובמשמעות תוצאים ראשיים ומשניים.
