'Furious' Episode 4 “Flash Flood”, Medusa/Dickinson Themes, and Nora’s Buried Case + 'Spider-Man'

Victor and Sona open by debating the latest Spider-Man movie’s length, 3D presentation, and emotional payoff, with Victor teasing a separate spoiler-filled ranking podcast. They then dive into Disney+/Hulu thriller Furious, focusing on episode 4, “Flash Flood,” and revisiting episodes 2–3’s titles and themes (Medusa/Gorgon mythology, hair symbolism, and the Emily Dickinson publication dilemma). They discuss Nora’s investigative strategy of withholding evidence, her apparent connection to a 2012 group-home overdose case, and tensions with FBI colleague Choi versus Alice’s instincts. The episode recap highlights Kat (now using “Marta”) infiltrating a lawyer’s family via Blanchard to abduct Hal, Alice’s self-harm kink and complications with Danny and Marshall, the Albany group-home revelations tying Kat to Isabelle and nursing access, and the ominous ending with Alden’s proposal and Hal awakening near a house as the case closes in.
