What happens in the first few seconds after we die?
Returning guest Isabeau Maxwell joins us for a fascinating exploration of death, mediumship, spirit communication, intuition, synchronicities, and the changing consciousness she believes humanity is moving toward. Isabeau describes death not as an instantaneous disappearance of identity, but as a transition. In her framework, we release the physical body while temporarily retaining the spiritual body and what she calls the “programming body”—the identity connected to this lifetime. She says the first moments can involve confusion before an automatic pull begins toward the light, a loved one, or whatever feels naturally welcoming.
We also explore some of the more controversial sides of mediumship. Isabeau shares an experience with a spirit that appeared as something enormous and demonic before eventually revealing itself as an ordinary human spirit attempting to frighten her. She discusses spiritual protection, how guides may communicate without directly interfering, psychic scams that exploit fear, whether animals have souls, and whether spirits could potentially use technology to communicate. We also dive into AI “grief tech,” why Isabeau believes everyone possesses intuitive abilities, and her prediction that synchronicities, manifestation, intuition, and inner clarity will intensify as humanity moves toward 2027.
