WARNING: Arizona Wildcats DROP from Final Four Elite if RJ Godfrey FACES Ineligibility

Arizona Wildcats’ Final Four hopes take a hit as uncertainty looms over RJ Godfrey’s eligibility. If Godfrey is ruled out, Arizona shifts from championship favorite to Elite Eight hopeful—raising major questions about lineup versatility, rebounding dominance, and defensive grit. Are Tommy Lloyd’s Wildcats prepared to adapt if Ivan Kharchenkov is forced to the four spot, and what will this mean for Mo Krivos and rising talent Caleb Holt?

Leif Thulin breaks down how losing Godfrey impacts Arizona’s rebounding edge, defensive ceiling, and signature high-low action. The episode highlights key roles for Derrick Dixon’s perimeter shooting, Ugnis Jaroshevicius’s frontcourt minutes, and the strategic value of size versus speed. Panel questions address transfer portal options, the timing of NCAA decisions, and upcoming recruit visits, placing Arizona’s lineup flexibility and defensive identity under the microscope. Can the Wildcats remain a national contender, or does Godfrey’s absence shrink their margin for error?
