A struggling 911 dispatcher begins receiving the same desperate emergency call from a terrified little girl trapped in the basement of an abandoned house. His supervisors dismiss it as a recurring prank tied to a months-old missing family case, but he can't ignore the fear in her voice. After breaking protocol and following impossible instructions from a mysterious woman on the line, he uncovers a hidden crawlspace containing the remains of a mother and child, finally solving a cold case that haunted the department for months. Even after justice is served, one final supernatural phone call reveals why the voices never stopped ringing.
