John Wells talks I don't wanna die Pt. 2, Baltimore & adversity "Sports and Hip-Hop with DJ Mad Max"

Shoutout to Baltimore's own lyricist John Wells for coming on my show for an interview! John discussed his new project I don't wanna die (Pt. 2), what he is running from, and the adversity he has had to overcome. He talked about dealing with anxiety since he was a teenager, the impact of losing his father, and writing his song No Drugs In Heaven from his father's perspective. John also spoke about Statik Selektah being the first to play his record on the radio, the unsung Baltimore Hip-Hop story, and more. Stay tuned!

John Wells' new project I don't wanna die (Pt. 2) is available on all platforms, including Apple Music: https://music.apple.com/us/album/i-dont-wanna-die-pt-2/1874056637.
